Everkin was born from the chaos of managing four chronically ill cats - and the realization that no app on earth was up to the task.
Everkin is a comprehensive pet health tracking app for iOS, designed for multi-pet households. It centralizes health records, medication schedules, vet visits, weight trends, and daily care into a single shared workspace for your whole family — so everyone who loves your pet stays on the same page.
It started the way most ideas do - with frustration. Four amazing cats, each with their own chronic health conditions. Glucose monitoring in one app. Weight tracking in another. Vet visit schedules scribbled in a notebook. Medication reminders set as phone alarms with cryptic labels.
Between regular checkups, specialist visits to surgeons and dermatologists, sick visits that seemed to come out of nowhere, and costs that kept climbing - everything lived in a dozen different places. There was no way to see the full picture. No way to connect the dots between a medication change and a symptom shift. No way to hand off care instructions to a pet sitter without writing a novel.
We tried every app on the market. Some were beautifully designed but couldn't handle complex medical needs. Others had the features but were painful to use. Most just digitized paper forms and called it innovation. Not one of them felt like it was built by someone who actually lived this life.
Managing chronic conditions across multiple pets means juggling glucose logs, weight trends, symptom diaries, vet visits, prescriptions, and costs—often during stressful moments when clarity matters most.
No existing app could handle the complexity. Pet parents managing serious health conditions were stuck stitching together spreadsheets, notes apps, and memory—and still dropping the ball.
After one too many frantic searches for which cat got which medication and when, the decision was clear: if the right app didn’t exist, we’d build it ourselves.
What We Saw

Most apps assume one pill, once a day. Real life means complex dosing schedules, multiple medications, and conditions that interact with each other.
Logging information is only valuable if you can see the patterns. A weight change alongside a medication switch tells a story that numbers alone can’t.
Leaving your pets with a sitter shouldn’t mean texting a wall of instructions and hoping for the best. Care coordination needs to be built in.
